Christmas Special Recipe - Oreo Biscuit Plum Cake Recipe - Quick & Easy Recipe for Christmas
Take the Oreo biscuits into a mixer and make a finely powdered mixture of it.
As this plum cake would be made in a cooker, make sure to keep a small stand inside and rest of the cooker empty and remove the whistle and inner ring of the cooker and preheat the cooker on a medium flame for 10 minutes by closing it.
Now to make the cake batter, take a mixing bowl and sieve the Oreo biscuit finely crushed powder and add maida, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder, dry ginger powder and sieve this mixture into the oreo biscuit mixture.
Once all the dry ingredients are sieved, add milk (on room temperature), melted butter and mix them properly with a wire whisk for 2-3 minutes and make a creamy fluffy mixture.
Now add the rest of the dry fruit ingredients and mix them lightly with soft hands.
Once the cake batter is ready, take a rectangle sized aluminum tin and grease it with oil or butter and place a same sized butter paper inside the aluminum tin.
Now pour the batter on top of the butter paper in the aluminum tin and spread it evenly throughout the tin.
Now tap the aluminum tin on a surface lightly 7-8 times to remove the air bubbles from the batter for a proper bake.
Now place the aluminum tin inside the cooker and again close the cooker lid and bake the cake on a low flame for 25-30 minutes.
On completion of 30 minutes, open the lid and insert a knife or a toothpick into the cake and if it comes out clean then let it cool down for the demould process.
Once cooled, take a knife and cut along the inner borders of the tin and then slowly flip the tin on a plate and remove the butter paper used for baking.
The delicious and tasty Oreo biscuit plum cake is ready to be finished !!!
