- 4 medium sized Potatoes
- 1/3 cup crushed Cornflakes
- 1 tsp Dhaniya Jeera powder
- 1 tsp Laal mirch powder
- 1/4 tsp Haldi powder
- 1 tsp Cornflour
- Oil (for deep frying)

Take the potatoes and cut them into evenly sized pieces and wash them 2-3 times with water and let them dry on a sieve for 5 minutes so that the excessive water is removed.
Now put these potatoes into a bowl and add dhaniya jeera powder, haldi powder , laal mirch powder and toss the potatoes in the bowl so that the masala gets coated on the potato surface.
Once done, cover the bowl and keep aside for 5 minutes.
Now add salt and once again toss the potatoes for even mix and again keep aside for 1 minute. (Tip- chaat masala can also be used as an option to salt)
On completion of 1 minute, the potatoes loose water and they are ready.
Now take crushed cornflakes in a plate along with cornflour and mix them properly.
Now take the potatoes and roll them in the cornflakes and cornflour mixture and coat them properly.
Now heat some oil in a pan for deep frying.
Once done, keep the gas on a low flame and slowly release the coated potatoes in the oil and fry them until they become golden brown.
Once done, cover a plate with tissue paper and keep the fried potatoes on it for excess oil removal.
Your delicious and crispy aloo fry is ready to be served !!!!
